Vertafore PortalServer Test Application is telling me a new version of the Vertafore PortalServer JavaScript library is available but that I'm running the latest version. The message shown on the about tab is: "Version 1.0.3 of the Vertafore PortalServer JavaScript Library is available. You are currently running 1.0.3." Why is this?

This message will appear occasionally when a bug fix is released that affects one of the modules that make up the library. The test site has detected a new version of one of the modules and is offering you the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version. The message only shows the overall library version to keep the upgrade message concise and easily understandable.

This can also occur just after you upgrade to the latest JavaScript library. Most modern browsers cache JavaScript and will trigger a false positive about available upgrades if the cached version is not re-downloaded. In these cases forcing the browser to refresh ignoring the cached versions (Ctrl-R or Shift-F5 on most browsers) will remove the notice.

One way to ensure that your workflow always has some data to work with is to use a default data document. In your Workflows directory wow gold you can place an xml file that follows this naming convention: "WORKFLOW_NAME.DEPLOYMENT_NAME.SCHEMA.DATA".
