Created a new test environment. Followed same install procedures as for Windows 2003. Install process immediately shuts down insisting that it cannot find an IIS installation versino 5.0 or higher, even though I can start up IIS 7.0 interface.

Due to differences in the IIS API/metadata between IIS6 and IIS7 Vertafore provides two install MSI files, namely PortalServerInstall.msi and PortalServerInstall_IIS7.msi.

PortalServerInstall.msi is for installations on computers running IIS5 or IIS6, which includes XP and Server 2003

PortalServerInstall_IIS7.msi is for installations on computers running IIS7, which includes Windows 7 and Server 2008

Please ensure that you are using the appropriate MSI for installing PortalServer on Server 2008. If this MSI cannot be located or was not included in your most recent update please contact customer services and we will provide you the necessary files.

If you continue to have errors please update this question, including any relevant error messages.
